Domaine Gayda Figure Libre Cabernet Franc 2022

A lovely, intense purple colour with red highlights. On the nose it explodes with varietal intensity: raspberry, blackcurrant, green pepper, and some mentholated aromas. A delicate caramelisation shows a careful and skilful use of oak barrels. The palate is fresh and vegetal with soft tannins still present as well as notes of roasted cocoa. 13% ABV.

A gorgeously perfumed nose here, soft touches of flowers and cherries, with an almost smoked, charred touch. This is full bodied with complex layers of red and black fruit – blackcurrants, strawberries and cherries, baking spices and stony, mineral acidity that keeps things super lively and fresh.
