Russiz Cabernet Franc D.O.C. Collio 2023

Deep ruby-red colour. The nose is complex and fruity, with fruity and vegetal hints. Pronounced hints of red berry fruit – as black cherry, blackberry and blackcurrant – and of green pepper. In the mouth it is rich and pleasant, with a good balance between freshness and silkiness. 13.5% ABV.

This red wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety: Cabernet Franc. Only flawless grapes were used for this exceptionally well-balanced, single-varietal wine from Russiz Superiore. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately transported to the winery. Here, they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures.
